Hello there! My name is Lisa and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born and raised in this small town, where I still live today with my husband and two children. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the stories of the people who came before me - their struggles and triumphs, their hopes and dreams. As a result, I became passionate about preserving the history of this town through oral storytelling and written records.
I started volunteering at our local historical society as soon as I could, helping to organize old documents and photographs, and eventually becoming a tour guide for visitors interested in learning more about our town's past. It was during one of these tours that I met my husband, who also had a passion for history and a love for this town. We got married shortly after and settled down here to raise our family.
Today, I continue to volunteer at the historical society whenever I can, and I often share stories from our town's past with my children as we explore the local landmarks together. It is my hope that they too will develop a love for history and a sense of connection to this place we call home.
