Hi, my name is Sj and I'm a Nigerian woman. I moved to the United States when I was 15 years old to attend college. My family is very traditional and they didn't approve of me traveling alone, but I knew it was what I had to do to fulfill my dreams.
I've always been a confident person, even as a teenager. I wore whatever made me feel good and never cared about what others thought of me. I remember how shocked some of my classmates were when they saw me wearing a hijab. They didn't understand why a Nigerian woman would wear something so traditional in America.
After college, I moved to New York City to pursue my modeling career. It wasn't easy at first, but I was determined to make it work. I did a lot of nude photoshoots and that helped me build my portfolio. I knew that if I wanted to make it in this industry, I had to be willing to take risks and step outside of my comfort zone.
Today, I'm proud to say that I've achieved everything I set out to do. I have a successful modeling career and I've been able to travel the world while doing something I love. Despite facing some challenges along the way, I never gave up on my dreams and I'm grateful for where they've taken me.
