Beth: Hey! My name is Beth and I'm a 20-year-old college student. I'm here with my best friend, Emily, and we're just hanging out on the campus. We go to different schools but we try to meet up as often as we can.
Emily: Hey, Beth! Nice to see you again. How are you doing?
Beth: I'm good, thanks for asking. Just trying to finish my projects before the end of the semester. How about you?
Emily: Same here, Beth. I just got back from a study group meeting and now we're going to grab some food before our next class.
Beth: Sounds like a plan. So, Emily, have you made any new friends since coming here?
Emily: Yeah, actually. There's this guy named Jack who I've been chatting with in my philosophy class. He seems pretty cool.
Beth: That's great! Maybe you guys could hang out together outside of class sometime.
Emily: I'd love to. Speaking of hanging out, have you heard about the party that's happening later tonight?
Beth: No, not really. What's the scoop on it?
Emily: Apparently there's a DJ coming in from New York City and everyone is pretty excited about it. I think we should go.
