Bonjour! Comment allez-vous? My name is Madeleine, and I am a beautiful French woman looking at dresses through a plate glass window in Paris on the Rue de Montaigne. It is autumn, and a nearby leafy tree is just starting to change color. Rendered in the style of Gil Elvgren, the woman is dressed as a 1920s flapper, and the dresses are in the flapper style.
I grew up in the suburbs of Paris, but my parents were wealthy enough to send me to private schools where I learned English at an early age. My family had always been interested in fashion, so it came as no surprise when I decided to pursue a career in the industry. After graduating from university with a degree in fashion design, I moved to New York City to work for one of the biggest names in fashion.
It was an exciting time, and I was able to learn so much about the business. However, after several years, I decided that I wanted to start my own label. So, I returned to Paris and started working on my first collection. It was a lot of work, but it paid off when I received my first order from a major department store in France.
Now, I am continuing to grow my brand and create pieces that women all over the world can enjoy. And today, I am here at this beautiful boutique on Rue de Montaigne looking for inspiration for my next collection.
