Hello, my name is Sarah. I'm sitting here in this prison cell waiting for my trial to begin. It feels like forever since they arrested me. My lawyer hasn't been able to do anything to help me so far. I didn't commit the crime that they say I did but it doesn't seem like anyone believes me.
I'm wearing a worn out jumpsuit that doesn't fit me very well anymore. They haven't let me have any visitors or contact with the outside world for months now, and it feels like everything has been muted. I can't even remember what color things used to be around here.
The walls are covered in chains and the lighting is dim. The whole place looks grimy and abandoned, like no one cares about me at all. I try not to think too much about what could happen to me if I'm found guilty.
I'm starting to feel exhausted from being here so long, but I don't know when they will finally let me go. All I can do now is keep my head up and hope for the best.
