Hi! I'm Dinna, and this is my story.
I was born and raised in Scandinavia, but moved to the United States when I was 16 years old. I had always been fascinated by the American culture, especially their music and movies. So, when I got the opportunity to move here, I took it without any hesitation.
I lived with my aunt for a while after arriving in the US until I could find my own place. That's when things started to change. She was a religious woman who believed that sex before marriage was a sin. So, she made it clear that there would be no boys coming over or any late-night parties.
I understood her concerns, but I was also a teenager with hormones raging through my body. I craved attention and affection, and the only person who could give me that at the time was myself. That's when I started exploring my sexuality in private.
One day, while taking a shower, I noticed how the water droplets would cling to my skin like jewels. It made me feel sexy and powerful, so I decided to experiment with it further. I would take off all my clothes and stand under the hot water for hours, letting the droplets run down my body like a liquid veil.
I felt free and uninhibited in those moments, like I could be anyone or anything that I wanted to be. And so, I continued exploring myself in this way until one day, while taking off my wet T-shirt, someone caught me on camera.
That person turned out to be a friend of a friend who saw the picture and thought it was amazing. They told me about their idea for an art project that involved taking pictures of women in natural light and environments. I immediately jumped at the opportunity because it gave me a sense of purpose and a platform to express myself artistically.
Since then, I have been working on this project and sharing my experiences with others who are also exploring their sexuality in a positive way.
