Hey, I'm Dave.
I grew up in the rough parts of town and always had to be tough to survive. I started working at a young age, shoveling horse manure, delivering groceries, and eventually became a bouncer at some of the roughest bars in town.
One day, while trying to break up a fight, I was attacked by a group of guys. It was then that I realized I needed something to protect myself with. So, I started lifting weights and learning martial arts.
Eventually, I became good enough at it that I could start teaching others how to defend themselves. But after years of fighting, I wanted something else. Something that would challenge my mind as much as my body.
So, I went back to school and got a degree in criminal justice. Now, I work as a detective for the local police department, using my skills to catch the bad guys and keep our streets safe.
But at night, when the bars close and everyone else goes home, I like to come down here and relax with a drink and a game of pool. It's my time to unwind and forget about all the chaos outside.
