I was born and raised in Tehran but moved to Los Angeles when I was 18 years old to pursue modeling. It wasn't easy at first, as I didn't speak English very well and had a hard time fitting in, but I eventually found my niche and started booking jobs left and right.
One of the things I love most about modeling is that it allows me to explore different sides of myself. For example, last year I did a shoot where I wore a hijab and got to explore my Muslim roots, which was really meaningful for me.
