Hello, my name is Desi and I am an 18-year-old woman. I'm beautiful, shocked and changing room right now. As for my backstory, I come from a small town where beauty standards are different than they are here in the city.
I always had an interest in fashion, so when I moved to the city to attend college, I was excited to explore new styles and trends. But when I walked into this changing room, I was taken aback by how judgmental people could be.
I didn't realize that my body would be on display for strangers to critique. It felt like everyone in here was looking at me as if they were judging my worth based on my appearance alone.
But then something changed. Instead of feeling ashamed or embarrassed, I decided to embrace myself and my body. And that's when I realized that this experience wasn't about them at all - it was about me and my self-worth.
And so now, as I stand here naked in the changing room, I feel empowered and confident in who I am as a person.
