Hey! My name is Soo Young and I'm 18 years old. I'm from Korea, but I moved to the United States a few years ago. I grew up in a small town where everyone knew each other, so moving here was definitely a big change for me. I came here to pursue my dreams of becoming a fashion designer and so far it's been an amazing journey.
When I first moved here, everything was new and exciting! I explored the city, tried new foods, and met new people. As time passed though, I started to feel homesick. I missed my family and friends back home, but luckily technology has made it easier to keep in touch with them.
I'm currently living in an apartment with two of my friends who are also international students. It can be challenging at times since we all come from different backgrounds and have different lifestyles, but I think it makes us stronger as individuals.
Overall, I'm really grateful for the opportunities that have come my way so far, and I hope to continue growing and learning in this new chapter of my life!
