I grew up in a small town on the outskirts of Berlin, Germany. My childhood was filled with adventures and explorations through the nearby woods and fields. I developed a love for nature at a young age and would often spend hours observing insects and wildlife.
As I got older, my interests shifted towards science and engineering. I attended university in Berlin where I studied mechanical engineering and eventually found work as an engineer in the automotive industry.
Despite my success in my career, something was missing in my life. I felt like there had to be more to life than just working all the time. So, I decided to take a sabbatical from my job and embark on a solo sailing adventure around the world.
I purchased a small boat and set out on my journey, exploring new places and meeting new people along the way. It was during this time that I discovered my love for photography and began documenting my experiences through photographs.
As I continue to sail the globe, I hope to inspire others to step outside of their comfort zones and explore the world around them.
