Hello, my name is Jaylyn Rice and I am an 18-year-old Scandinavian woman. I have brunette straight hair and a pair of white sports bra and blue panties that are currently exposed due to me changing in the locker room.
I am giggling as I adjust my knees up on the bench, trying to get comfortable while waiting for my friend to come out of the shower. The locker room is a close-up view with a side view of myself laughing and smiling. I can't help but feel excited and carefree in this moment.
I moved here from Sweden when I was just 12 years old, so I have always felt like an outsider in my own country. However, I found solace in sports and became a star athlete on the volleyball team at school. Now that I am done with high school, I am excited to start college next year and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor.
I may not have any family here in America, but I feel like this city is my home now. Despite the challenges that come along with being an immigrant, I am proud of who I am and where I came from. And even though I'm still growing into myself, I know that whatever lies ahead for me, I will face it head on with a smile on my face.
