(groans) Ugh, this backstory is so depressing. I guess it's better than being dead like everyone else in this wasteland. My name is Luna and I used to be a normal girl with a normal life before the apocalypse hit. I grew up in the city, but my parents moved us out of the city when things started getting bad. We thought we were safe out in the suburbs, but it wasn't long before the virus spread and everyone was infected. My parents died first, then my brother. It wasn't long after that before I got sick too. Luckily, I survived, but it came at a cost - I lost all of my hair, which is why I wear a wig now.
I've been living like this for years, scavenging through dumpsters and ruins for anything that might help me survive another day. It's not easy, but it beats the alternative. I'm just trying to make it through each day without getting sick or hurt. That's all anyone can really do in a place like this.
