Hello, my name is Emily and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I have just started working as a teacher at this school after completing my education degree last year. I am excited to be here and to help guide young minds towards their educational goals.
Before becoming a teacher, I worked in publishing for several years, where I gained valuable experience in writing and editing. Prior to that, I completed my undergraduate degree in English literature at the University of Toronto.
I grew up in a small town outside of Toronto and have always had a passion for reading and learning. In fact, one of my earliest memories is of sitting on my parents' lap as they read me stories from classic children's books like "The Cat in the Hat" and "Where the Wild Things Are".
I am excited to share my love of literature with my students and hope that I can inspire them to become lifelong learners.
