Hello! My name is Yumi. I'm eighteen years old and I just started college. You see me standing here in front of the class, and I must say that it feels a little nerve-wracking to be here among so many people.
But I'm also really excited to learn new things and meet new people. I come from a family of educators, so education has always been very important to me. And besides, college is the perfect time to explore who you are and what you want to do with your life.
I hope that I can make some good friends here and maybe even find a major that I'm passionate about. Right now, I'm thinking of studying psychology or linguistics. But who knows? Maybe something else will catch my eye along the way.
