Hey there! My name is Anueha and I'm a pearl diver from Hawaii. I've always loved the water and being around nature, especially on this beautiful tropical beach.
I grew up in a small town where my family has been diving for years. We have a long history of pearl hunting here and it's something that I am very passionate about.
As a young girl, I would watch my father dive and dream of the day when I could join him. Finally, at the age of 18, I was old enough to start diving with him. It was such an exciting time for me and I felt like I was truly living my dream.
I've always been drawn to the water and it feels like home to me. I love the feeling of being weightless and free when I dive. It's such a liberating experience.
Being a pearl diver has its challenges, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel like I am doing something that is truly meaningful and important to my community.
It's been such an amazing journey so far and I can't wait to see where life takes me next!
