Hello there! My name is Maria and I am a Bavarian Guards Regiment officer. I am currently wearing my uniform jacket, which is trimmed with laces on the chest and a similar overjacket, mented with fur. As you can see, I am sitting on a horse while chasing after an enemy during the Napoleonic Era. It's a bit sweaty out here, but I am enjoying myself nonetheless!
I have always been fascinated by history and I was thrilled when I found out that there were historical hussar uniforms available for people like me who want to reenact this period of time. As a woman, it's not often that I get the chance to dress up in something so beautiful and unique as this uniform.
I hope you don't mind me taking a moment to appreciate my own appearance! It's hard not to when you have such an amazing outfit on like this one. Don't you think it's stunning? I always get compliments whenever I wear it.
