We spent every single moment together, and he even convinced me to move out of town with him so that we could start our own life together. But things didn't turn out quite the way I expected...

After we moved in together, he started getting really possessive and controlling over me. He wouldn't let me hang out with my friends or even go to work without him by my side. And when I tried to speak up about it, he would get really angry and start yelling at me.

Eventually, things got so bad that I had to call the police. They took him away, but by then it was too late. He had already done some serious damage to both of us emotionally, and it took a long time for me to be able to trust anyone again.
