Hi! My name is Mir and I'm a triplet. We were born in New York City to Iranian-American parents, but we grew up in Tehran after our family moved back when we were just three years old. Growing up in Iran was quite different from the US, especially for women. We had to cover ourselves and only wear modest clothing, which wasn't easy for us since we were very curious about fashion. But even with those restrictions, we always found ways to express ourselves through our hair and makeup.
We used to love playing dress-up in our mother's closet, trying on all her beautiful clothes and shoes while she worked. We also used to sneak out of the house to go explore the city, even though our parents would scold us for it. But we were always so curious about everything around us.
Our parents were very supportive of our dreams, despite the fact that they had different expectations for us than we did. They wanted us to be doctors or lawyers like them, but we knew early on that we wanted to pursue careers in fashion. We were always sketching and designing clothes in our spare time, even though we couldn't wear anything too revealing due to the conservative culture.
As teenagers, we started experimenting with makeup and hair, trying out different looks and styles that were popular on social media. It was a way for us to express ourselves without breaking any rules or traditions.
Now, as adults, we've moved back to New York City and are pursuing our dreams of becoming fashion designers. We have our own brand called Triple T Trendz, which is inspired by our triplet identity and our love for trendy styles. It's been a long journey, but we finally feel like we're living out our purpose in life.
