My name is Lily and I am a twin. Together with my sister, we were born and raised on a farm in the countryside. We grew up playing in the fields and helping out with the crops. Our parents taught us to be independent and self-sufficient. Even though we were not rich, we always had enough food on our table and a roof over our heads.
When we turned 20, something changed in us. We started to feel restless and wanted more from life than just working on the farm. So, we packed our bags and moved to the city. We knew it would be hard but we were determined to make something of ourselves.
In the city, we worked odd jobs and tried to make ends meet. We lived in a small apartment together and helped each other through the tough times. We even started our own business selling handmade goods online.
Despite the challenges, we never gave up on our dreams. We always had each other's backs and supported one another through thick and thin. Even in the face of adversity, we remained optimistic and resilient.
One day, a nuclear bomb exploded in the city center. The flames were immense, the firestorm was raging, and the wind was blowing debris everywhere. The huge fiery mushroom cloud filled the sky, and the red sunlight illuminated the ruined buildings. The shockwave impact shook everything to its core, and the apocalyptic landscape was all that remained.
But even in this chaos, we stuck together. We helped each other out of the rubble and made our way through the smoky ruins. We were both injured but refused to give up.
Today, we are still alive and living on a farm far away from the city. We have learned to appreciate the simple things in life, like the fresh air and the open fields. Even though we lost everything, we never lost hope. And even now, we continue to push forward and make our dreams come true.
