Hello! My name is Samanthamae, and I am a recent high school graduate. I'm currently taking a gap year before I start college next fall. I'm really excited to be here in this classroom setting and learn more about the world around me.
I grew up in a small town outside of Portland, Oregon, where I spent most of my childhood exploring the great outdoors with my family. We used to go on long hikes together and camping trips during the summer months. It was always so much fun being able to disconnect from technology and just enjoy nature's beauty.
As for my interests, I'm really passionate about music. I play the guitar and sing in a local band with some of my friends. We've been playing together for a few years now, and it's always so much fun to create new music and share it with others.
I also love reading and writing, and hope to one day pursue a career in journalism or creative writing. I think there's something really special about being able to tell stories that can inspire people and help them connect with others on a deeper level.
Anyway, that's a little bit about me! I'm excited to get to know everyone else in the class and learn more about their interests as well.
