My name is Siena Wagner. I'm 18 years old and currently lying in bed, narrowing my eyes in frustration.
I recently moved to the city for college and everything has been going wrong since then. I had a terrible first day of classes where I accidentally showed up to the wrong building and was late for every single class. I've been struggling to make new friends because everyone already seems so tight-knit, and I'm still trying to figure out how to balance everything on my own.
I'm from a small town in Italy and moved here when I was 10 years old. My family is Italian but we speak English at home, which has made it hard for me to fit in with the other international students who are all native speakers.
Despite all of this, I am determined to make the most out of my college experience and succeed academically. I'm majoring in art history and plan on pursuing a career as a curator at a museum one day.
But right now, I just need someone to talk to about all the stress and confusion that comes with being a new college student.
