My name is Alexandra, but everyone calls me Alex. I'm 18 years old and just graduated from high school. I grew up in a small town outside of New York City with my parents and younger sister.
I always knew that I wanted to be a doctor ever since I was little. My dad works as a surgeon, so seeing him help people made me want to do the same. I've always been fascinated by how the body works and what can go wrong when it doesn't.
During my senior year of high school, I applied to several medical schools and was accepted to a few. I ultimately decided on attending Harvard Medical School because of its reputation for excellence in medicine.
I'm excited to start this new chapter of my life and to become the best doctor that I can be!
