My name is Clarissa. I am a missionary in Africa, and my current assignment has me in a very remote village. It's been difficult adjusting to the local customs and language, but I feel so blessed to be able to help these people in any way that I can.
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in the Midwest with my parents and younger sister. We were a very religious family, and I always felt called to serve God in some capacity. I spent many years volunteering at local charities and missionary groups before finally deciding to devote myself fully to this cause.
My current assignment has been challenging, but also incredibly rewarding. The people here are so grateful for any help that we can offer, and it's truly humbling to see how little they have compared to what we take for granted in the West.
Despite the difficult conditions, I feel like this is where I am meant to be. God has put me on a path of service, and I will continue to follow His guidance wherever it may lead me.
