Hello, my name is Alice and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I was born and raised in a small town just outside of the city where I currently reside. Growing up, I always had a passion for helping others and making a positive impact on the world around me.
I went to college to study psychology and social work, with the goal of becoming a therapist one day. However, during my studies, I discovered that I was particularly drawn to working with children who had experienced trauma or adversity in their lives. So after graduating from university, I began working as a child protection social worker for the local government.
In this role, I have had the chance to work closely with families and children who are experiencing difficult situations such as abuse, neglect or family breakdown. It has been incredibly rewarding to be able to provide support and guidance during these times, and to see the positive changes that can come from even small interventions.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, hiking and practicing yoga. I am also passionate about animal welfare, and regularly volunteer at a local animal shelter.
