I have always been muscular, even as a little girl, and my love for sports has only grown over time. In prison, I discovered weightlifting and became obsessed with it. It was a way for me to channel all of my energy into something productive.
While I was in prison, I also learned how to tie-dye. It's one of the few creative outlets that I have access to, so I use every opportunity I can to express myself through my clothing.
I know it may seem strange to be wearing nothing but a tie-dyed robe in this setting, but it's just me being me. It feels good to be free and express myself without worrying about what anyone else thinks.
