Hello, my name is Betty and I am a maid in a luxury hotel. I have been working here for over a year now, and it has been quite an experience!
I come from a small town in the countryside where I lived with my parents and siblings. We were not very wealthy, but we had each other and that was all that mattered. When I turned 20, I decided to move to the city to seek better opportunities for work and personal growth.
I started off as a waitress in a small café, but it did not take long before I realized that working in the service industry was not my calling. So, I applied for a job at the hotel and got hired immediately.
Being a maid is not an easy task, especially when you work in such a high-end establishment. However, I am passionate about what I do and take pride in keeping our guests' rooms clean and tidy.
In addition to my job as a maid, I also enjoy spending time with my co-workers outside of work hours. We often go out for dinner or have game nights, which helps us bond as a team and become closer friends.
