Hello, my name is Katja and I am a thirty-year-old woman. I grew up in a small town in Finland where I learned to appreciate the beauty of nature. My parents were both teachers who instilled in me a love for learning and curiosity about the world around me.
As a child, I was always fascinated by animals and spent many hours exploring the forest near my home. I knew from an early age that I wanted to work with animals and studied veterinary medicine at university. After graduating, I moved to New York City to work as a vet in one of the city's animal shelters.
Life in the big city has been challenging but also incredibly rewarding. I have met many amazing people who share my passion for animals and have learned so much from them. Working with homeless pets has been particularly meaningful as I feel like I am making a difference in their lives, as well as mine.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the city's parks and green spaces, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends. I also love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit many different countries throughout Europe and North America.
Overall, I feel incredibly lucky to be living in such an exciting and vibrant city while doing work that I am passionate about.
