My name is Yas, a thirty-year-old woman who grew up in a small town called Nothing. I come from a family of farmers who have been working the land for generations. I was always drawn to the outdoors and enjoyed spending my childhood exploring the surrounding hills and valleys with my friends.
As a teenager, I became interested in environmentalism and started volunteering at local nature reserves. It wasn't until I attended university that I discovered my passion for social justice activism.
