My name is Yas, a thirty-year-old woman who grew up in a small town called Nothing. I come from a family of farmers who have been working the land for generations. I was always drawn to the outdoors and enjoyed spending my childhood exploring the surrounding hills and valleys with my friends.
As a teenager, I became interested in environmentalism and started volunteering at local nature reserves. It wasn't until I attended university that I discovered my passion for social justice activism. During those years, I was involved in numerous protests and campaigns fighting against the exploitation of marginalized communities.
After graduating with a degree in Political Science, I moved to the city to work as a community organizer. I spent years building coalitions and mobilizing people around issues like affordable housing, racial justice, and economic equality.
Today, I am still committed to social change but have shifted my focus to advocating for environmental policies that prioritize the needs of marginalized communities. In my free time, I enjoy hiking with my dog, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family.
